our new newsletter = your new obsession?

One of our newest team members, Nina, is more than a bit obsessed with the web, so I tasked her to "read the web for us and summarize the best of it each day".

I hate to admit it, but of late we've been so busy that I've fallen behind on my news, memes and overall web denizen updates. There are very few things more embarrassing than being behind in the latest internet jokes. Amiright?

So, last week, Nina started sending us her round up and not only was it helpful, but it was hilarious and fun. It gave me an idea.

For a few years now, I've followed Caitlin Dewey's Links I Would Gchat You if We Were Friends.

Caitlin does the news roundup like nobody else. It used to be a bit of an obsession of mine. I say 'used to be' because, well, she got busy and went from daily to weekly and then seems to have abruptly stopped in early November. I tweeted at her a month or so ago to see if she was starting up again, but didn't hear back.

Her absence has left a big, gaping void in the universe in my estimation. So, though we aren't nearly as witty as Caitlin, we are pretty good at curating the good stuff.

So, I thought, why not start our own Newsletter? Nina already has us started and with a little help from our friends, we can really build on it!

We all get pretty busy, so if you want us to help you look more with it when it comes to what the latest meme, viral video, or idiot move by the Uber founder is...check it out. We're calling it, "your daily distractions...you're welcome":
